Catafago is urgently hiring a Chief Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily accounting amp; finance operations
• Review purchase invoices, costs, salaries and bank transfers
• Ensure accurate financial records and financial reporting
• Manage reconciliations, inventory counts and month/year-end closing
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors on salaries, NSSF, taxes and annual audits
• Monitor accounting processes, systems and departmental performance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Identify financial discrepancies, risks and recommend corrective actions
• Provide financial analysis and support management decision-makingRequirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations amp; standards
• Proven experience in accounting with strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic, English amp; French
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
